Group Events - Workshops
Here at The Shed (essex) we often run workshops for photographers starting out on their journey. Helping them learn how to use their camera, working with models for the first time or just to join us on a group event to get great shots for their photography portfolio. We offer safety advice for people starting out on their modelling journey and host group events for them to work in a safe environment.
My Story
Having always struggled with technology it took me many years to feel confident enough to shoot a portrait image.
Always worried I would look silly if I got things wrong and scared I would change a camera setting half way through a shoot and not know how to get it back.
Over the past 10 years I have battled through this and now want to help as many people as possible learn in a fun, relaxed environment where we can all learn together.
YES - I have forgotten to take the lens cap off, YES - I have shot an entire shoot on the wrong setting on the camera, YES - I have even left my focus on the wrong setting and had a handful of blurry images
..... but that's how we learn right?
I want people to feel safe and comfortable in the studio and feel they can come and have a try......
It doesn't matter if you just want to get your camera off the auto settings, get used to photographing people, get images for your portfolio or just spend a few hours with like minded people talking 'camera' talk.
